FREE Preschool Eye Screening
Rochester Lions Club offers FREE Kid Sight Vision Screening for children ages 18 months thru age 6 at The Outlet Youth Center on Friday, September 11th, from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. The screening may pick up the presence of eye disorders. No physical contact is made with your child and no eye drops or medications are used. Upon obtaining parent permission, a Lions Club Member will take a digital “camera” measurement of the child’s eyes from a comfortable distance.
After the child screened, the information is sent to Operation Kid Sight for a review. Parents and/or guardian will receive copies of results. If the screening indicates the possibility of a vision disorder, the parent and/or guardian is notified and encouraged to make an appointment with an eye doctor.
