Caston will formally recognize two distinguished alumni at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 3, 2018 at the Commencement Ceremony. Prior to the ceremony a reception, sponsored by Rochester Teacher’s Credit Union, will be held from 1 – 1:40 p.m. in the meeting room adjoined to the school cafeteria. Guests may enter at the school patio doors from the south parking lot. This year’s distinguished alumni class of 2018 includes the following individuals:
Roger Byrum – Class of 1988. Senior Infomatics and Automation Engineer for Myers Spring, Logansport, IN. Graduated from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in 1992. Roger was instrumental in establishing an award-winning VEX Robotics Program at Caston. He and his
family reside in the Twelve Mile area within Caston School Corporation.
Robert Redweik, Jr. – Class of ’76. Director of Health, Safety and Environment for Citation Oil and Gas Corporation in Houston, TX. Bob attended the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, CO from 1976 – 1979 and then transferred to Purdue
University where he completed his degree in Civil & Environmental Engineering in 1980. Bob and his family reside in Tomball, TX.
