Students from Akron Elementary School and Mentone Elementary School attended a leadership camp June 18-21 at Manchester University.The camp, “A Barrel Full of Leadership,” contained experiential learning with an emphasis on goal setting, communication, group process, team building, problem solving, organization, community service, project idea sharing, officer roles, inclusion, tolerance & diversity, citizenship & patriotism, and networking with leaders from all over Indiana. These students will be in fifth grade this upcoming school year.
