Openings available in Girl Scouts of Northern Indiana-Michiana summer camps

Fort Wayne, IN – Girl Scouts of Northern Indiana-Michiana wants to remind all girls living within the 22-county council service area that openings remain in a variety of summer camps, including one-day camp with mom or dad, mini-camp, weekend camp, day camp or a themed weeklong camp.

Camp provides a safe environment, emotionally and physically, for girls to discover who they are, develop a strong sense of self, and build confidence and leadership skills. Girls have the opportunity to:

  • live in community with other girls and caring counselors
  • try a new sport like kayaking, archery, zip-lining or horseback riding
  • learn to cook over a fire and care for horses
  • enjoy traditional camp fun of s’mores, crafts, silly games and campfire songs

GSNI-M operates three beautiful camp facilities: Camp McMillen near Huntertown, Camp Logan on Dewart Lake near Syracuse and Camp Soni Springs near Three Oaks, Mich. Camp is open to all girls currently in grades K-12; no previous Girl Scout experience is necessary!
