KOKOMO, Ind. — Registration for summer session and fall semester classes at Ivy Tech Community College Kokomo Region opens Monday, March 20, and now is a great time to get ready to begin a journey in higher education.
“Students who register early can get a jump on planning – and have the best chances possible to can get the classes they want and need at the most convenient times,” said Fran Hardin, director of Ivy Tech’s Express Enrollment Center on the Kokomo Campus. “The staff in the Express Enrollment Center can assist prospective students in completing all the paperwork for admissions and financial aid and advisers will be available in the Student Affairs office to guide students in course selection.”
Hardin noted that while March 10 was the deadline for filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Student Aid) for state assistance, the FAFSA can still be filed for federal aid. Enrollment center staffers can help in filling out the FAFSA and making arrangements for any Accuplacer testing students may need to be sure they are in appropriate classes.
